Job Title: Expert Kafka Engineer / Kafka Architect

Experience: 5+ Years in Kafka | 3+ Years in Confluent Kafka

We are looking for an experienced Kafka Professional with solid expertise in Apache Kafka and Confluent Kafka Platform to design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale event streaming solutions. The candidate should have hands-on experience in building real-time data pipelines, event-driven architectures, and high-performance streaming applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available Kafka/Confluent Kafka solutions.
- Build and manage real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures.
- Configure and administer Kafka clusters, topics, brokers, partitions, and replication.
- Implement Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, ksqlDB, and Confluent ecosystem components.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Kafka platform performance.
- Ensure platform reliability, security, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Work with development, data, and infrastructure teams to integrate Kafka with enterprise applications.
- Define Kafka best practices, standards, and governance.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on Kafka-related initiatives.

Required Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Apache Kafka.




- 3+ years of experience with Confluent Kafka Platform.
- Strong knowledge of Kafka Architecture, Producers, Consumers, Streams, and Connectors.
- Experience with Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, ksqlDB, and Confluent Control Center.
- Good understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices.
- Experience with Linux, Networking, Security, and Monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Java, Python, or Scala.
- Confluent Kafka Certifications are a plus.
