Role Description The Cluster Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of a defined group of smart vending locations in Bengaluru. This is a full-time, on-site role that involves managing field teams, ensuring machines are stocked and functioning, monitoring sales and performance metrics, and coordinating replenishment and maintenance activities. The role includes building strong relationships with campus and workplace partners, addressing operational issues promptly, and maintaining high service standards for end users.

Manager will analyze data to improve assortment, uptime, and revenue, implement process improvements, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. Collaboration with central operations, technology, and partner management teams is essential to support cluster growth and deliver consistent, reliable micro-retail experiences.

Qualifications

- Operational management skills, including experience overseeing multiple sites, coordinating field teams, and managing day-to-day service delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret performance data, identify operational gaps, and implement practical improvements.
- Stakeholder and relationship management skills for working with campus administrators, office facility teams, and external partners.
- Team leadership and people management skills, including training, performance monitoring, and fostering a culture of accountability.
- Experience with technology-enabled operations, such as digital payments, inventory systems, or retail automation platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate across operations, logistics, and support teams.
- Ability to work on-site across multiple locations in Bengaluru and adapt to a fast-paced, growing startup environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, engineering, or a related field; prior experience in retail, FMCG, logistics, or facility management is an advantage.
