Cloud Infrastructure & Security Architect

About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Cloud Infrastructure & Security Architect to own cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, security and cost optimization across a multi-cloud environment, working closely with the Enterprise Architect, engineering and DevOps teams to support Intellimation.ai's products, AI workloads and client deployments. The ideal candidate combines deep AWS and Azure expertise, security-first thinking, LLM and GPU infrastructure experience and a FinOps mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cloud architecture & infrastructure engineering:
- Own cloud architecture and infrastructure strategy across AWS, Azure and other environments, including multicloud, hybrid and on-premises client deployments.
- Design and operate scalable, highly available, secure architectures for enterprise and AI workloads on our core AWS stack: S3 + CloudFront (Angular hosting), ECS Fargate + ALB (application), SQS + EventBridge (async), RDS PostgreSQL Multi-AZ, S3/Glacier (storage, archive) and Amazon Bedrock (AI).
- Partner with engineering and DevOps on Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), networking, CI/CD, DR and automation; drive Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and secure, repeatable deployment standards.
- LLM & GPU infrastructure:
- Own AI/ML and LLM infrastructure: Bedrock integration, and open-source LLMs on AWS via Bedrock where supported, otherwise GPU-backed compute (EC2 GPU, EKS GPU node groups, SageMaker).
- Lead GPU engineering: capacity planning, scheduling, utilization, performance tuning and AI compute cost optimization.

- Cloud security:
- Own cloud security standards: IAM, network security, data protection, encryption, backup, DR and business continuity

Govern core controls: AWS KMS (encryption), Secrets Manager, CloudTrail (audit and compliance logging) and Keycloak (identity and access).

- Embed security into CI/CD (DevSecOps) with SonarQube scanning; run security reviews, vulnerability management, access reviews and incident response readiness.




- Support compliance and audit needs of enterprise and regulated clients (BFSI/FinTech).
- Observability & operations:
- Build monitoring, tracing and logging with CloudWatch, X-Ray / OpenTelemetry, Prometheus and Grafana; troubleshoot complex availability, scalability and performance issues

- FinOps, governance & planning:
- Own cloud cost management: budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, anomaly detection and spend governance.
- Evaluate cloud services on performance, scalability, reliability, security and TCO; set governance and architecture standards across engineering and DevOps.
- Support capacity planning and forecasting based on product growth, workloads and client needs; stay current with emerging cloud, security and AI infrastructure technologies.

What We're Looking For (Must Have):

- 8 -12+ years in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, DevOps or cloud security, including enterprisescale environments.
- Strong AWS and Azure expertise, with multi-cloud design and operations experience.
- Kubernetes on EKS/AKS; Kafka or other event-driven infrastructure.
- Certifications: AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, AWS/Azure Security Specialty, CKA/CKS, CISSP or CCSP.
- Proven hands-on experience deploying, hosting and operating LLMs in production, including open-source LLMs on AWS (Amazon Bedrock and GPU-backed compute), and hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock.
- GPU infrastructure and engineering experience, including capacity planning, utilization and performance optimization for AI workloads.
- Hands-on experience with the AWS stack above, plus Kubernetes, Docker, networking, IAM and security.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform), CI/CD and DevOps experience; familiarity with SonarQube, Prometheus, Grafana and Keycloak.




- Proven cloud cost optimization, FinOps and capacity planning experience, including AI compute cost optimization.
- Strong grasp of high availability, DR, resilience and performance optimization.
- Ability to turn business and product needs into scalable, secure, cost-efficient architectures, weighing cost, performance, security and scalability trade-offs, and to communicate effectively with engineering, DevOps and leadership.

Valuable to Have:

- Experience in BFSI, FinTech or other regulated environments, and hybrid/on-premises enterprise deployments.
