Designation: Senior Manager – Civil Projects (Group Level)

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Experience: 10+ Years

Location: Corporate Office, Nagpur, with travel to project sites

Reporting To: Management / Designated Business Head

Job Purpose To lead and oversee civil engineering, project execution, technical supervision, and infrastructure development across all group companies, ensuring timely completion, cost control, quality, and effective team management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and monitor civil projects across the Group, from planning and estimation to execution and handover.
- Supervise and manage civil works at coal washery plants, including equipment foundations, RCC structures, drainage, internal roads, and plant infrastructure maintenance and development.
- Review civil drawings, structural designs, BOQs, cost estimates, and technical specifications.
- Manage civil engineers, site supervisors, contractors, and project teams, ensuring accountability and productivity.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, material utilisation, work quality, and contractor performance.
- Prepare and review project MIS, including physical progress, budget versus actual expenditure, delays, risks, and pending activities.
- Conduct regular site visits and resolve technical and execution-related issues.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Finance, Commercials, consultants,



contractors, and Management.
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, quality requirements, safety practices, and applicable statutory norms.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, project risks, and corrective actions, and report deviations to Management.
- Standardise project reporting, documentation, and execution practices across group companies.

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in civil construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
- Solid technical knowledge of RCC, structural works, foundations, estimation, costing, BOQ, and drawing interpretation.
- Proven experience in project management, team leadership, contractor handling, and cost control.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project planning/MIS tools.
- Strong analytical, coordination, problem-solving, and management reporting skills.

- Timely project completion and adherence to approved budgets.
- Quality of execution and reduction in rework.
- Accuracy and timely submission of project MIS.
- Effective team and contractor management.
- Compliance with technical standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
