About the Role

JFIPL is looking for a Junior Civil/Structural Draftsman to support our Civil Engineer on structural drawing work for Industrial plant.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare a detailed civil/structural drawings (foundations, RCC structures, steel structures, layout drawings) under guidance of the Civil Engineer

Prepare GA (General Arrangement) drawings, foundation layout drawings, and structural fabrication drawings

Coordinate with mechanical/electrical draftsmen for integrated plant layouts

Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and material take-offs for civil works

Site visits as required for measurements, verification, and coordination with site teams/contractors

Maintain and update drawing revisions, ensure proper documentation and version control

Support the Civil Engineer in vendor/contractor drawing reviews

Required Skills

Diploma in Drafting/Civil Engineering

Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D mandatory)

Basic understanding of RCC and steel structure detailing

Valuable communication skills for coordinating with site/vendor teams

Preferred

Prior exposure to industrial/plant civil works (factory sheds, equipment foundations)

Familiarity with AutoCad or similar drafting software
