Keeyomi is an AI product engineering company working across India and Thailand. We're helping SaaS startups build and ship AI products. Now we’re building our own.

Our first in-house product is a feature-complete, AI-powered SaaS platform serving both individual users and business customers. It’s currently in stealth and heading into soft launch. We’ll share product details with selected candidates under NDA.

The Role

We’re looking for a CTO to be the technical co-owner of this product at the most important stage: the move from “it works” to “it holds up with real users.” We have a feature-complete product and a fixed launch plan: soft launch within 60 days of you joining, full launch within 90. We need a CTO who can take the codebase from “it works” to “it holds up under real users,” and do it on a clock. You’ll report directly to the founder and CEO and own the technology, the codebase, and the engineering team.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll review code and make architectural calls in your first weeks, and you’ll build the team that eventually takes those tasks over.

What You’ll Own

Launch readiness (the first 90 days)

- Audit the codebase, architecture, security posture and test coverage, then set clear go/no-go criteria for soft launch
- Lead rigorous testing: functional, integration, load and security
- Set up CI/CD, monitoring, alerting and an incident response playbook
- Run the soft launch, stabilize it, then execute full launch with all features live and traffic spiking from social and influencer campaigns

Architecture and technical strategy

- Own the architecture of a full-stack, multi-tier SaaS platform serving both B2C and B2B customers
- Make and document the key technical decisions: scalability, data model, and build-vs-buy
- Define the technical roadmap in step with product and business priorities

Quality, testing and launch readiness

- Lead rigorous product testing ahead of soft launch, including functional, integration, load and security testing
- Set up automated testing and CI/CD so releases are fast and safe
- Own the soft-launch and full-launch technical checklist, including monitoring, alerting and incident response

Code quality and engineering standards





- Run code review and set the standards for the codebase
- Pay down technical debt deliberately instead of letting it pile up
- Keep documentation current, so the product is ready for investor and customer technical due diligence

AI/LLM engineering

- Own how we use LLMs in production: prompt and output reliability, error handling, evaluation, and fallback behavior
- Manage AI cost and unit economics as usage grows, including provider strategy and cost controls

Security, auth and payments

- Own authentication, access control, data privacy and compliance (including India’s DPDP requirements)
- Own subscription billing and payment integrations, including reliability and webhook handling

Team building

- Hire, mentor and lead the first engineers
- Build an engineering culture around ownership, quality and shipping

What You’ll Bring

Must have

- Able to join within 15 days (immediate joiners preferred). The launch clock starts when you do.
- 10+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in a technical leadership role (CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Engineering or Engineering Manager)
- Strong full-stack experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js and Node.js
- Production experience with MongoDB or similar databases
- Hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features in production, not just prototypes
- Experience with authentication and subscription/payment integrations
- Experience with cloud deployment, CI/CD and monitoring
- A habit of reviewing code seriously and testing before shipping
- Comfort working directly with a founder, and happy to be both architect and builder

Qualifications

- Ability to lead and oversee Software Development and Product Development activities, driving high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in IT Strategy, aligning technology decisions with business goals and client needs.
- Robust background in Architecture, including designing robust, secure, and maintainable systems and platforms.




- Proven Project Management skills, with experience delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget.
- Extensive experience in senior technology leadership roles, preferably as CTO, VP Engineering, or similar.
- Solid understanding of modern software engineering practices, cloud platforms, security, and DevOps principles.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with consulting or services organizations and managing multiple client engagements is an advantage.

Nice to have

- Prior experience as a startup CTO or founding engineer
- Experience with multi-tenant B2B SaaS and enterprise-grade features
- Experience with security and data privacy requirements in India or Southeast Asia
- Experience taking a product from soft launch to scale
- Experience supporting investor technical due diligence

The 90-Day Launch Plan and Your First 90 Days

- Days 1–30: Audit the codebase, architecture and test coverage, and agree the technical risk list with the CEO
- Days 31–60: Close the launch-blocking gaps, set up automated testing and CI/CD, and lock the soft-launch plan
- Days 61–90: Execute soft launch, stabilize based on real usage, and finalize the first engineering hires
