Position: Senior Non-Motor UnderwriterLocation: JaipurPackage: Industry normsExperience: 10+ years in Non-Motor Underwriting

Based: Rajasthan only

Key Responsibilities:

1. Risk Assessment & Underwriting:
2. Evaluate and underwrite non-motor risks (property, liability, marine, etc.) based on company guidelines and market trends.
3. Conduct thorough analysis of risks, coverage requirements, and pricing to determine appropriate terms and conditions.
4. Ensure compliance with internal underwriting policies and external regulations.

2. Team Leadership & Mentorship:

1. Lead and mentor a team of junior underwriters, providing guidance and support in underwriting decisions and technical matters.
2. Assist in training recent staff members on underwriting processes and best practices.

3. Client Interaction:

1. Support the sales and business development teams in understanding underwriting requirements and responding to complex client queries.
2. Review and optimize pricing strategies, taking into account market conditions, competition, and emerging risks.
3. Claims Support & Coordination:
4. Collaborate with the claims team to ensure the underwriting process aligns with claims handling practices.
5. Review claims trends and provide input on risk management strategies to minimize future claims.

Market Research & Product Development:
7. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging risks to ensure that underwriting practices remain competitive.
8. Provide input for the development and refinement of insurance products.

Key Requirements: · Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in non-motor underwriting, with a focus on property, liability, or marine lines of business.

· Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Insurance, Finance, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Associate/ Fellowship of the Insurance Institute of India) are a plus.

· Skills & Competencies:

o Strong analytical and risk assessment skills.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

o Leadership and team management experience.

o In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.

o In-depth knowledge of Insurance Products o Proficiency in underwriting software and MS Office.

o Capabilities to communicate with Insurance Companies to get a bespoke products/ contingent policies.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
