Capability Lead – Defence Vertical

Client builds autonomous heavy-lift drones, C-UAS systems and tactical drone solutions for the Indian Armed Forces and allied users.

This role owns how our tactical and logistics UAS capabilities are shaped, positioned and adopted by the user — translating what soldiers and formations actually need into ConOps, specifications and winning proposals.

About The Role:

Location: Delhi NCR (with field travel to formations) | Full-time

This is a capability and customer-success role at the intersection of user, product, and procurement.

What You'll Own:

- Translate Ops to Product: Translate operational requirements and user problem statements into ConOps, capability briefs and technical specifications that engineering can build to.
- Own User Relationships: Own relationships with Army / Air Force / Navy formations, directorates and evaluation teams for tactical and logistic use cases.
- Drive Procurement & Trials: Shape and drive responses to RFIs, RFPs and trial directives; guide user trials and field evaluations end-to-end.
- Close The Loop: Feed structured field requirements back to engineering,



closing the loop between the user and the product.
- Represent in Policy Forums: Represent BonV in policy and procurement forums under DAP 2020, Atmanirbhar Bharat and IDDM frameworks.

Ideal Candidate - Mandatory:

- Robust Capability Lead Profile - A retired armed-forces veteran with user-side defence-acquisition and aviation/UAS experience. This is non-negotiable.
- Experience 1: ~12 years total experience, primarily in Indian Armed Forces (Air Force, Navy, or Army) or Paramilitary (retired), with hands-on exposure to user-side defence acquisition, capability development, trials, or evaluation + at least 6 months of corporate / private sector experience.
- Experience 2: Aviation or UAS domain background — flying branch, ATC, aviation logistics, air operations, or equivalent.
- Skill 1: Can translate operational requirements into ConOps, capability briefs, and technical specs.
- Skill 2: Can engage credibly with serving senior officers, directorates, and evaluation teams — owning these relationships and representing the company in procurement forums.
- Skill 3: Can shape RFI/RFP responses, guide user trials end-to-end, and feed structured field feedback to engineering.

You will define how heavy-lift autonomous systems get adopted by the Indian Armed Forces. Your operational experience becomes the product.
