Basic Functions:

Nucor Towers & Structures Inc, a division of Nucor, the United States’ largest recycler and largest manufacturer of steel and steel products, is seeking qualified applicants for experienced detailers and checkers at our business unit located in Noida, UP. Duties of the successful candidate include but are not limited to the following:

- Review and check 2D drawings, 3D models, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and installation drawings for accuracy and completeness.




- Perform quality control reviews of drawings and 3D models ensuring Quality assurance & Quality control practices are followed.
- Verify dimensional accuracy, tolerances, BOMs, weld details, GD&T;, and manufacturing requirements.
- Ensure design packages comply with project specifications, client requirements, and company drafting standards.
- Identify design discrepancies, clashes, omissions, and manufacturing constraints and provide corrective recommendations.
- Review drawing revisions and ensure all comments are properly addressed before release.
- Mentor and Supervise Junior reviewers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- Work overtime when required to meet commitments.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Able to communicate in English.
- B.Tech (Mechanical), Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent.
- Five or more years of work experience with Autodesk Inventor, Fusion, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Creo, NX, or Catia.
- 5+ years modeling/drafting experience.
- At least 3 years of mechanical/structural detailing experience
- At least 2 years of drawing review experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 7+ years’ work experience with regular Autodesk Inventor use
- Competency using Bluestar Project Lifecycle Management (PLM), Fusion Manage, or similar software.
- 3+ years’ utility structures industry experience.
- Experience in quality checking the modeling or drafting work of others.
- Experience developing drafting standards.
- Experienced with working of US standards and manuals.
