Role & responsibilities

- Design, build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau

- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into KPIs, metrics and reporting solutions

- Write and optimise complex SQL queries to extract, transform and analyse data from multiple sources

- Develop and maintain data models, ensuring consistency, accuracy and performance

- Perform ad hoc analysis to identify trends, anomalies and opportunities

- Monitor data quality, validate reports and resolve discrepancies

- Automate recurring reports and reduce manual reporting effort

- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences

- Work with data engineers on pipelines, data warehouse requirements and data governance

- Document data definitions, report logic and dashboard usage guides





Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Commerce or a related field

- 0 to 2 years of experience in BI, data analytics or reporting

- Solid proficiency in SQL (joins, window functions, CTEs, performance tuning)

- Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau, including DAX or calculated fields

- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, Power Query)

- Solid understanding of data modelling concepts (star schema, fact and dimension tables)

- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

- Good written and verbal communication skills
