They should be skilled in analysing company financials, conducting industry research, preparing company profiles and presenting research findings. The candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to identify potential business opportunities through research.

Responsibilities

- Conduct research on unlisted/private companies using MCA filings, financial statements, credit rating reports and other public sources.

- Analyse company financials, including revenue, profitability, debt, cash flow and working capital.

- Prepare company profiles, financial summaries, research reports and presentations.

- Conduct industry research, peer benchmarking and competitive analysis.

- Identify potential business opportunities for corporate finance and transaction advisory services.

- Maintain company databases,



research trackers and business development pipelines.

- Support client meetings, pitch materials and advisory assignments.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related field.

- 2–3 years of experience in equity research, financial research, credit research, valuation or a related field.

- Mandatory hands-on experience researching unlisted/private companies.

- Strong financial statement analysis and Excel skills.

- Experience preparing company research reports, financial models or presentations.

- Familiarity with MCA filings, Probe42, Capitaline or credit rating reports is preferred.

- Solid analytical, written communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to interpret financial information and identify relevant business opportunities.
