Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager with strong expertise in Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB), particularly the Internal Models Approach (IMA), to support market risk regulatory change and implementation initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with Market Risk, Front Office, Quantitative, Finance, Regulatory Reporting, and Technology teams to gather requirements, coordinate delivery, and ensure successful implementation of regulatory and risk transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead or support end-to-end delivery of FRTB IMA and Market Risk projects.
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements and prepare BRDs, FRDs, functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
- Support implementation and validation of key FRTB IMA components, including:
- Expected Shortfall (ES)
- Default Risk Charge (DRC)
- Non-Modellable Risk Factors (NMRF)
- Risk Factor Eligibility Test (RFET)
- Profit and Loss Attribution (PLA)
- Backtesting and stress testing
- Coordinate with business, risk, quantitative, and technology teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and governance activities.
- Support system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and implementation.
- Conduct stakeholder workshops and prepare project updates for senior management.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal governance standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager,



or Business Project Manager in banking or financial services.
- Strong functional knowledge of FRTB, especially the Internal Models Approach.
- Valuable understanding of Market Risk methodologies, regulatory requirements, and front-to-back trade processes.
- Experience in regulatory change, risk transformation, or Market Risk implementation projects.
- Strong requirements-gathering, documentation, stakeholder-management, and project-delivery skills.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with global investment banks or financial institutions.
- Knowledge of VaR, stressed VaR, sensitivities, and stress testing.
- Understanding of rates, credit, FX, equities, commodities, and derivatives.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Knowledge of SQL or risk data analysis tools.
- FRM, CFA, PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications.

Interview Process The selection process consists of two to three interview rounds. Interviews will be conducted virtually, with the final round potentially held face-to-face.
