Role Description The Building Management Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining building management and HVAC control systems, with a focus on energy optimization and occupant comfort. Day-to-day activities include integrating IoT sensors and field devices, monitoring system performance, diagnosing issues, and implementing improvements to building automation strategies. The role involves collaborating with facility managers, HVAC integrators,



and internal engineering teams to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure and reliable operation across diverse building types.

The engineer will prepare documentation, support commissioning and testing, and provide technical support and training to on-site teams. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Building Management and Building Management Systems, including configuration, monitoring, and optimization of BMS platforms.
- Candidates should possess skills in Management Systems and Building Services, covering building automation, HVAC controls, and integration with other building services.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Facility Management (FM), including understanding facility operations, energy usage patterns, and coordination with facility teams.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, IoT devices, and control systems, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and system schematics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with building automation protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus), field commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis, use of analytics tools or dashboards for energy and performance monitoring, and reporting findings to stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work in office with cross-functional teams, and a strong orientation toward safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
