Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Building/ Residential Architect role located in Chennai. The Architect will be responsible for designing residential and commercial building layouts, plans, and elevations that align with safety, functionality, and aesthetic requirements. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with engineering teams on integration of fire safety and testing-related systems, preparing detailed drawings and construction documentation, and coordinating with contractors and vendors.

The role also involves reviewing project specifications, ensuring compliance with local building codes and standards, and supporting project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting.



The Architect will actively participate in client discussions, provide design recommendations, and contribute to continuous improvement of architectural practices within the organization.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and preparation of detailed drawings.
- Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Integration related to architectural tools and workflows, such as CAD/BIM platforms and coordination with engineering systems.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication for building and residential projects.
- Relevant educational background such as a bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent discipline, with valid professional licensure or registration where applicable.
- Experience with building codes, fire safety standards, and residential construction practices; familiarity with sustainable and energy-efficient design is beneficial.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar), strong analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in office in Chennai.
