Position Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Manager with deep domain expertise in telecom billing operations, particularly in VSAT services and IBS billing systems. The role involves managing the end to-end billing lifecycle, supervising manual uploads, ensuring accurate service reconciliation, and leading a high-performing billing team to deliver timely and compliant invoicing across our telecom services portfolio.

Key Responsibilities Billing Operations •

- Lead and manage the complete telecom billing cycle, ensuring customer accounts are invoiced accurately and on schedule. •
- Oversee automated billing processes while ensuring efficiency and correctness in manual data uploads where automation is not feasible. •
- Maintain billing hygiene and address revenue leakage through detailed reconciliation and error tracking.

Starlink Billing

Expertise •

- Supervise billing for Starlink and related telecom services, ensuring accurate usage-based charging aligned with customer contracts and service level agreements. •




- Liaise with technical teams to validate service metrics and align billing logic with service usage data. •
- Manual Uploads &
- Data Management •
- Administer the manual upload process for services or clients outside automated workflows. •
- Implement validation mechanisms to reduce upload errors and ensure accuracy in usage-based billing models. Team Leadership •
- Lead, train, and mentor the billing operations team, ensuring adoption of best practices and continuous process improvement. •
- Set transparent KPIs and performance expectations for team members, aligned with business priorities.

Stakeholder

Coordination •

- Work closely with the Customer Support and Sales teams to resolve billing queries, disputes, and client concerns promptly and professionally. •
- Collaborate with Finance leadership on revenue assurance and reconciliation processes. Compliance &
- Reporting •
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, telecom pricing models, and company billing policies. •
- Generate periodic reports on revenue, outstanding balances, billing errors, and other KPIs for internal and external audits.

Qualifications &

Skills •

- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. • 5+ years of telecom billing experience, including 3+ years in a billing management role, preferably in VSAT, Starlink or internet service domains. •
- Strong command of IBS or other telecom billing systems; prior experience in manual upload processing is essential. •
- Sound understanding of telecom pricing structures, contracts, and compliance frameworks. •
- Proficiency in Excel, billing analytics, and basic financial reconciliations. •
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
