Role Description The Bancassurance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Thrissur, responsible for driving life insurance business through partnered bank branches. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with bank staff, providing product training, and supporting them in identifying and closing life insurance opportunities. The specialist will meet customers referred by the bank, understand their financial protection needs, and recommend suitable life insurance solutions in line with regulatory and company guidelines.

Daily responsibilities include achieving sales and revenue targets,



managing pipeline and reporting, coordinating marketing activities within branches, and ensuring high standards of customer service and documentation. The role also requires close collaboration with internal teams for underwriting, policy issuance, and after-sales support.

Qualifications

- Ability to build and manage relationships with bank partners, communicate clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a focus on consultative selling and need-based solutions.
- Knowledge of life insurance products, bancassurance processes, and basic financial planning concepts.
- Customer service orientation, including the ability to understand customer needs and provide clear, compliant guidance.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and digital platforms for reporting and customer engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; relevant certifications in insurance or finance are an advantage.
- Prior experience in bancassurance, life insurance sales, or financial services is preferred, especially in branch-based roles.
- Ability to work on-site in Thrissur, manage time effectively, and meet performance targets in a fast-paced environment.
