Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer with strong hands-on experience in backend development using Python and .NET technologies. The candidate should be capable of developing, integrating, testing, and deploying backend services and REST APIs.

The ideal candidate should have experience in server-side programming, database integration, API development, authentication, debugging, and performance optimization. Knowledge of Python frameworks and the .NET ecosystem is required to build secure, scalable, and maintainable backend applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications and services using Python and .NET technologies.
- Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Implement server-side business logic, data validation, and error handling.
- Develop and manage database schemas, queries, relationships, and transactions.
- Integrate third-party APIs, external services,



and frontend applications.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and access control.
- Write clean, reusable, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Identify and resolve backend issues and database-related errors.
- Use Git for version control and collaborate with frontend developers, mobile developers, and QA engineers.
- Prepare API documentation and maintain technical documentation.
- Assist with application deployment, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Follow coding standards, security practices, and software development best practices.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 1.5 years of hands-on experience in backend development.
- Strong programming knowledge of Python and C#/.NET.
- Practical experience with at least one Python backend framework, such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI, and ASP.NET Core.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, and API integration.
- Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries.
- Understanding of OOP concepts, data structures, and backend architecture.
- Knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and develop efficient backend solutions.
- Must have own laptop.
- Candidates currently based in Pune will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners or candidates who can join at short notice are preferred.

Good to Have

- Experience developing and deploying production-ready backend applications.
- Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and background job processing.
- Experience with Redis, caching, and asynchronous programming.
- Knowledge of automated testing and API testing tools such as Postman.
- Experience collaborating with frontend or mobile application development teams.
