We’re Hiring: AWS Network Security Engineer

We are looking for an experienced AWS Network Security Engineer with solid hands-on expertise in AWS networking, cloud security, network segmentation, firewall management, and security monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement secure AWS network isolation for recovery environments, ensuring segregation from production and enterprise networks.
- Configure and manage AWS VPCs, Transit Gateway (TGW), route tables, VPC attachments, and Route 53.
- Manage FortiGate firewalls, AWS Security Groups, Network ACLs (NACLs), and egress controls.
- Implement network segmentation, least-privilege access, and secure remote-access procedures.
- Integrate AWS infrastructure and application logs with SIEM solutions for monitoring and incident investigation.
- Support EDR, CSPM, vulnerability management, and cloud workload protection.
- Perform network isolation testing, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cloud infrastructure, security operations, and disaster recovery teams.

Mandatory Skills:





- AWS Networking and Cloud Security
- VPC, Transit Gateway, Route Tables, and VPC Attachments
- Amazon Route 53 (Public and Private Hosted Zones)
- FortiGate Firewall Configuration and Troubleshooting
- Security Groups, NACLs, and Egress Controls
- Network Segmentation and Isolation
- SIEM Integration and Log Forwarding
- Familiarity with EDR, CSPM, and Vulnerability Management Tools
- Experience securing enterprise or regulated workloads

Preferred Skills:

- Disaster Recovery / Cyber Recovery / Isolated Recovery Environments
- AWS CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and Security Hub
- Zero-Trust Security and Break-Glass Access Procedures
- Terraform or Python for Infrastructure Automation

Primary Responsibility: Own the setup, implementation, and validation of AWS network isolation and associated security controls for recovery environments. Interested candidates can share their updated profiles.
