Key Responsibilities:

- Provide day-to-day Compliance advisory and oversight to the Investment Banking and research business across transactions, products and business initiatives.




- Advise on applicable SEBI Merchant Banking Regulations and SEBI Research Analysts Regulation related SEBI requirements, internal policies and compliance standards relevant to Investment Banking activities.
- Review proposed and live Investment Banking transactions from a Business Selection and Conflicts perspective and facilitate appropriate conflict clearances.
- Identify, assess and manage actual or potential conflicts of interest, including those arising across Investment Banking, Research and other businesses.
- Support the operation of information barriers, wall-crossing controls, insider lists, Watch Lists and Restricted Lists in connection with Investment Banking transactions.
- Perform compliance monitoring, risk assessments and periodic reviews, and assist with the remediation of identified issues or control gaps.
- Support SEBI/exchange inspections, regulatory enquiries, internal audits and compliance reviews relating to the Investment Banking and Merchant Banking businesses.
- Develop and deliver targeted Compliance training and guidance to Investment Banking / Research personnel.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Educational Qualifications: Can be either CA or CS or LLB or post graduate in finance.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking / Research businesses
- Strong understanding of investment banking transactions, products, and market practices




- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple matters simultaneously
- Ability to operate independently while also functioning effectively as part of a collaborative team
