Queensway Distributors LLP, operating as Queensway Overland in Athani, Kochi, is looking for a skilled, dedicated, and responsible Automobile Technician with 1–3 years of relevant experience to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for vehicle inspection, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, with a focus on SUVs, 4x4 vehicles, and off-road vehicles. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of automotive mechanical systems and a willingness to learn about off-road vehicle accessories, suspension upgrades, and 4x4 equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine vehicle servicing, preventive maintenance, and mechanical repairs.

- Troubleshoot vehicle problems and identify the root cause of faults.

- Carry out maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and other vehicle systems.

- Work on SUVs, 4x4 vehicles, and off-road vehicles.

- Assist with the installation and fitting of 4x4 accessories, suspension upgrades, shock absorbers, bull bars, under-body protection, and other vehicle accessories.

- Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment to identify and resolve technical issues.

- Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure repairs meet quality and safety standards.

- Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop facilities in good working condition.

- Follow workplace safety procedures and company standards.

- Coordinate with team members to complete assigned jobs within the scheduled time.

- Maintain basic records of vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.

- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and protected.





- Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of relevant experience as an Automobile Technician, Automotive Technician, or Mechanic.

- ITI / Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant technical qualification preferred.

- Good practical knowledge of automobile servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

- Knowledge of mechanical systems, basic automotive electrical systems, and vehicle diagnostics.

- Familiarity with suspension systems, steering, brakes, and general vehicle repair procedures.

- Experience working on SUVs or 4x4 vehicles is an advantage.

- Knowledge of off-road accessories and aftermarket vehicle modifications is an added advantage.

- Ability to use automotive diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.

- Good practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Responsible attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to quality work.

- Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
