: AutoCAD Draftsman (Architecture)

About the Role : We are an architecture practice in Chembur looking for a detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our design team. You will convert design concepts and sketches into accurate, coordinated drawings for residential, commercial and interior projects, and support the team through every stage from concept to site execution.

Key Responsibilities : Prepare accurate 2D architectural drawings in AutoCAD: plans, elevations, sections and key plans.

Develop working drawings and detail drawings for doors, windows, staircases, toilets, kitchens, flooring and ceiling.

Prepare tender and good-for-construction (GFC) drawing sets.

Prepare submission drawings as per municipal norms (BMC / MCGM, SRA, MHADA) as guided by the architect.

Coordinate drawings with structural, MEP and landscape consultants and incorporate their inputs.

Revise drawings promptly based on architect, client and site feedback, with proper revision tracking.

Maintain drawing registers, layers, file naming and folder structure to office standards. Prepare area statements and basic quantity take-offs when required.





Visit sites occasionally to take measurements and verify as-built conditions.

Plot, print and organise drawing sets for client meetings, approvals and site.

Required Qualifications :

Diploma in Architectural Assistantship / Civil Engineering, ITI (Draughtsman Civil), or B.Arch / equivalent.

2-3 years of hands-on experience as an architectural draftsman.

Required Skills : Solid proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (layers, blocks, xrefs, dimensioning, layouts, plot styles).

Good understanding of architectural drawing standards, symbols, scales and detailing.

Ability to read and interpret hand sketches, markups and structural drawings.

Basic knowledge of building bye-laws and DCR (Mumbai) is an advantage.

Good attention to detail, accuracy and neat drawing presentation.

Ability to meet deadlines and work with a team.

Basic communication skills in English, Hindi and/or Marathi.

Good to Have Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit or 3ds Max.

Experience with MS Excel, PDF markup tools and Google Drive.

Experience in interior detailing or residential/redevelopment projects.
