About the Role

We are looking for a Visual Designer with 2–3 years of experience to join our Industrial Design team. The role involves creating visual communication for brands, products, presentations, packaging and digital applications.

You should have a solid sense of typography, composition and colour, with the ability to develop ideas and carry them through to final artwork. You will work closely with industrial designers and project leads, taking ownership of assigned work and maintaining quality across deliverables.

Responsibilities

- Understand project briefs, brand requirements and target audiences before developing design concepts.
- Create layouts, presentations, brochures, packaging graphics, product graphics, infographics, emailers and digital assets.
- Develop distinct design options that offer different approaches to the brief.
- Establish and follow grids, typography styles and visual guidelines to maintain consistency across a project.
- Translate research, technical information and product features into clear visual communication.
- Work within an existing design language or develop a fresh direction with guidance from the project lead.
- Collaborate with industrial designers to integrate graphics with product form, function and manufacturing requirements.
- Present design concepts and explain the reasoning behind design decisions.
- Incorporate feedback while maintaining the intent and quality of the design.
- Prepare accurate, editable and organised files for print, digital delivery and production.




- Check final artwork for typography, alignment, colour, resolution and consistency.
- Manage assigned tasks, communicate progress and meet project deadlines.

Skills and Qualifications

- 2–3 years of relevant experience in graphic design, visual communication or a related field.
- A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Visual Communication or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, layout skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Working knowledge of Figma, Adobe InDesign and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, composition, visual hierarchy and design principles.
- Knowledge of print and digital artwork requirements, including colour modes, resolution, bleed and file formats.
- Ability to balance visual quality with functional requirements and production constraints.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate with others.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Openness to feedback, willingness to learn and a responsible approach to quality and deadlines.

Additional Skills

- Experience in packaging, branding, product graphics or interface design.
- Illustration, icon design or basic motion graphics skills.
- Experience creating presentation narratives and infographics.
