Job Title: Associate Professor – Information Technology

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Associate Professor in Information Technology to contribute to teaching, research, student mentoring, and academic development. The candidate will be responsible for delivering quality education, guiding student projects, publishing research, and supporting curriculum development in alignment with Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs), and Program Outcomes (POs).

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver lectures, laboratory sessions, tutorials, and project-based learning in Information Technology and allied computing disciplines.
- Teach subjects such as Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, and Cybersecurity, as applicable.
- Develop course materials, lesson plans, assignments, laboratory manuals, and assessment tools aligned with Outcome-Based Education (OBE).
- Guide undergraduate and postgraduate students in academic projects, internships, research activities, technical competitions, and professional certifications.
- Conduct research, publish papers in reputed journals and conferences, and contribute to funded research projects, consultancy, and collaborative research.
- Participate in curriculum development, course outcome assessment, PO/PSO attainment,



and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote innovation, entrepreneurship, industry-oriented projects, and the application of emerging technologies to real-world problems.
- Participate in departmental administration, faculty development programs, academic audits, and accreditation activities, including NBA and NAAC.
- Collaborate with industry and academic institutions to facilitate internships, research projects, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Promote qualified ethics, teamwork, effective communication, lifelong learning, and socially responsible computing practices.

Eligibility Criteria

- Ph.D. in Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Relevant UG/PG qualifications and teaching/research experience as prescribed by applicable UGC, AICTE, university, and institutional norms.
- Research publications and experience in academic projects, student mentoring, and curriculum development are desirable.

Required Skills Teaching and mentoring, programming, algorithms, research and publications, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), curriculum development, academic documentation, industry collaboration, and effective communication.

Preferred Research Areas

Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Computer Networks, Software Engineering, Internet of Things, System-on-Chip (SoC), and emerging IT technologies.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹130,000.00 per month
