The Production Associate - Weld Shop role supports weld shop assembly operations, with responsibility for maintaining product quality, improving productivity, and reducing manufacturing losses. The position combines robotic programming, process analysis, quality improvement, and compliance with established safety procedures.

Responsibilities

- Handle and deploy MIP activities as required

- Conduct red bin analysis and implement improvement activities based on the findings

- Coordinate effectively with team members and relevant departments

- Ensure that manufactured parts meet the required quality standards

- Implement measures to reduce rejection rates and customer complaints

- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety procedures

Requirements

- Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering, or Bachelor of Technology qualification





- At least 5 years of relevant production or weld shop experience

- Proficiency in robotic teaching and programming

- Robust process and product knowledge

- Ability to analyse findings and implement measures to reduce scrap

- Experience analysing and reducing production cycle times

- Ability to implement and control productivity improvement activities

- Knowledge of cost reduction, downtime reduction, and operational efficiency improvement
