DotKonnekt is looking for an Associate Designer to join our team and create engaging content for our brands, marketing campaigns and events. The role focuses on video editing, motion graphics, event collateral and branding, combining strong design fundamentals with AI tools to deliver quality work and iterate quickly.

What you will do

- Video editing: Create promotional videos, social media reels, product explainers, event teasers and highlight videos. Work with footage, music, voiceovers, captions and sound to build explicit, engaging stories.
- Motion graphics: Design animated titles, logo animations, transitions and other motion assets for marketing and brand communication.
- Event collateral: Design invitations, posters, standees, banners, backdrops, signage, brochures and branded merchandise, maintaining a consistent visual identity across each event.
- Marketing and branding: Create social media creatives, digital advertisements, presentations and campaign assets aligned with brand guidelines.
- Print production: Prepare print-ready artwork with accurate dimensions, resolution, colour profiles, bleed and safe margins.
- AI-assisted creation: Use tools such as HeyGen, Runway and Adobe Firefly to create and enhance video content, explore visual directions and speed up production.
- Visual refinement: Use AI image tools such as Magnific, Gemini or equivalent platforms to generate, retouch, extend and enhance images, then refine the results in Adobe software.
- Collaboration:



Work with the design and marketing teams to understand briefs, incorporate feedback and deliver assets within agreed timelines.

What we are looking for

- 0–2 years of experience in graphic design, video editing, motion graphics or a related creative field. Graduates with a strong portfolio are welcome.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Practical skills in video editing, including pacing, transitions, captions, basic colour correction and audio balancing.
- An understanding of motion graphics and animation fundamentals.
- Strong design fundamentals across typography, colour, composition, layout and visual hierarchy.
- Familiarity with designing for print and preparing files for production.
- Hands-on familiarity with HeyGen, Runway or similar AI video tools, and a willingness to learn new creative workflows.
- The ability to write and refine AI prompts, evaluate outputs and improve them through editing and iteration.
- Comfort using tools such as Claude and Gemini to support ideation, storyboards and creative planning.
- Attention to detail, openness to feedback and the ability to manage multiple deliverables.
