Role Description

We are looking for an Associate Backend Engineer SQL for a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.

The role is designed for fresh graduates and early-career technology professionals interested in backend development, SQL databases, API development, data-driven applications, software engineering, database integration, cloud technologies, automation, enterprise applications, and modern backend-engineering practices.

The Associate Backend Engineer SQL will work closely with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, production, supply chain, finance, sales, and other business teams to develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve backend applications, APIs, databases, data-access layers, internal platforms, automation solutions, enterprise systems, and digital services.

The role may involve working with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Java, Python, Node.js, C#, Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, .NET, REST APIs, ORM technologies, cloud platforms, testing frameworks, Git, CI/CD, and modern backend-development technologies depending on project and business requirements.

Qualifications

- B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Final-year students completing their degree and available for full-time employment may also apply.
- Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in backend development, SQL development, database development, software engineering, application development, API development, data engineering, or related technology roles can apply.
- Candidates currently working as Associate Backend Engineer SQL, Associate SQL Backend Engineer, Associate Backend Developer SQL,



Junior Backend Engineer, SQL Developer, Database Developer, Backend Engineer, Backend Developer, Backend Software Engineer, Application Developer, Associate Software Engineer, Graduate Software Engineer, Junior Software Engineer, or similar roles are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates from IT services, SaaS, product companies, technology, consulting, e-commerce, fintech, telecom, analytics, manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, or other industries are welcome.
- Basic to good knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Understanding of SELECT statements, joins, subqueries, aggregations, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, transactions, indexes, constraints, and query optimization.
- Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, SQLite, or similar relational database-management systems will be beneficial.
- Understanding of database design, normalization, primary and foreign keys, referential integrity, schemas, data models, relationships, and CRUD operations.
- Exposure to query optimization, execution plans, indexing strategies, database performance tuning, connection management, and troubleshooting will be advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of at least one backend programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript/Node.js, C#, PHP, Go, or a similar language.
- Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, Express.js, .NET, or similar technologies will be beneficial.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, API integration, authentication, authorization, and system integration.
- Familiarity with ORM technologies such as Hibernate, JPA, SQLAlchemy, Entity Framework, Sequelize, Prisma, or similar data-access frameworks will be beneficial.
- Exposure to MongoDB, Redis, or other NoSQL databases will be considered an additional advantage but is not mandatory.
- Exposure to ETL/ELT processes, data transformation, data pipelines, data validation, reporting systems, or database migration will be beneficial.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control, branching, pull requests, debugging, code reviews, and collaborative software-development workflows.




- Exposure to Postman, unit testing, integration testing, API testing, database testing, or automated testing will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, managed cloud databases, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, or similar cloud and DevOps technologies will be considered an advantage.
- Basic understanding of Linux, command-line tools, application deployment, environment configuration, logging, monitoring, and production-support concepts will be beneficial.
- Exposure to microservices, distributed applications, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, caching, asynchronous processing, or event-driven systems will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
- Familiarity with authentication, authorization, role-based access control, data security, encryption, secure database access, input validation, and API-security concepts will be beneficial.
- Exposure to data warehousing, business intelligence, analytics databases, dashboards, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, reporting tools, or enterprise data systems will be considered an additional advantage.
- Exposure to ERP, CRM, manufacturing systems, inventory platforms, supply-chain applications, automation systems, or enterprise applications will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, user stories, sprint planning, or issue tracking will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
- Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to understand business and technical requirements and contribute to practical, reliable, scalable, maintainable, and secure backend and database solutions.
- Willingness to work in an in office environment.
- Internship, academic project, SQL project, database project, backend project, API project, Java project, Python project, data project, web application, GitHub project, hackathon, freelance assignment, startup project, or open-source contribution will be considered but is not mandatory.
- Candidates without previous full-time backend or SQL-development experience can apply.
- Strong willingness to learn new backend technologies, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, testing tools, database-design practices, and modern software-engineering concepts.
