Role Description:

The Assistant Video Editor role is a full time, on-site position based in Virudhunagar. The person in this role will assist in editing video content for marketing, client presentations, and project showcases, ensuring alignment with brand identity and project objectives. Daily responsibilities include organizing raw footage, performing basic cuts and transitions, assisting with color grading, and preparing content for multiple platforms.

Editor will collaborate closely with the design, marketing, and project teams to understand project narratives and translate them into engaging visual stories. The role may also involve supporting motion graphics work and maintaining an organized video asset library.

Required Skills:

- Ability to support end-to-end video production workflows, including basic Video Production and Video Editing skills.
- Proficiency in Video Editing and Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and maintain a consistent look and feel.
- Experience or interest in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating titles, overlays, and visual elements.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or similar).
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to follow creative direction.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with creative and project teams.
- Relevant coursework, certification, or a degree in film, media, visual communication, or a related field is an advantage.
- Portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing and visual storytelling capabilities.
