Description Guru Kashi University is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Assistant Professor in Physics to contribute to excellence in teaching, research, and academic development. Minimum Qualification

Ph.D. in Physics is mandatory as per UGC/University norms. Candidates should possess an excellent academic record along with a passion for teaching, research, laboratory work, and student mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality teaching in Physics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Develop, review, and update curriculum, course content, and laboratory activities in line with academic standards.




- Conduct laboratory sessions and guide students in practical experiments and scientific projects.
- Ensure effective laboratory teaching, safety practices, and proper utilization of laboratory resources.
- Mentor students in academic projects, internships, research activities, and career development.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in reputed national and international journals.
- Guide students in research projects, dissertations, experiments, and academic activities.
- Participate in departmental administration, accreditation activities, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Organize seminars, workshops, conferences, FDPs, and other academic and scientific events.
- Promote interdisciplinary research, innovation, and collaboration with academic and research institutions.
- Undertake academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the university from time to time.
- Contribute to the overall academic, research, and institutional development of the university.
