Description Guru Kashi University is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Assistant Professor in English to contribute to excellence in teaching, research, and academic development. Minimum Qualification

Ph.D. in English is mandatory as per UGC/University norms. Candidates should possess an excellent academic record along with a passion for teaching, research, communication skills, and student mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality teaching in English at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Develop, review, and update curriculum, course content, and teaching methodologies in line with academic standards.
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, language activities, and academic skill-development sessions.




- Mentor students in academic projects, research activities, communication skills, and career development.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in reputed national and international journals.
- Guide students in literary studies, language research, projects, dissertations, and academic activities.
- Promote effective written, verbal, presentation, and professional communication skills among students.
- Participate in departmental administration, accreditation activities, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Organize seminars, workshops, conferences, literary events, FDPs, and other academic activities.
- Promote interdisciplinary research, innovation, and collaboration with academic and professional institutions.
- Undertake academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the university from time to time.
