Assistant Manager – Procurement

Experience: 8 to 13 years

Responsibilities

- Handle procurement activities for manufacturing requirements.
- Float RFQs, obtain quotations, and prepare comparative statements.
- Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Positive knowledge of costing for Sheet Metal and Machining components is preferred.
- Knowledge of EMS and IT peripherals will be an added advantage.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Quality, Production, Engineering, and Finance teams.
- Manage supplier relationships and resolve procurement-related issues.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly procurement reports.
- Experience in ERP / SAP is preferred.




- Tamil and English communication skills are mandatory; Hindi or other languages will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with broad manufacturing procurement experience are preferred; commodity-specific experts are not preferred.
