The Assistant Manager - PQE role plays a key part in strengthening supplier quality performance and ensuring the quality readiness of parts for new models. The position combines supplier quality improvement, technical evaluation, part approval, and structured problem-solving across casting and machining components.

Responsibilities

- Drive Supplier Quality Management (SCQM) activities to improve supplier quality performance

- Manage new model quality assurance activities for supplier parts

- Conduct drawing reviews, technical feasibility studies, and part approval activities

- Review and approve gauge concepts and carry out quality planning for recent model parts

- Perform inspections and quality assessments of casting and machining components

- Conduct problem analysis, identify root causes, and implement countermeasures to prevent recurrence





- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure compliance with the required quality standards and specifications

Requirements

- Experience in supplier quality, quality assurance, or a related manufacturing quality function

- Knowledge of drawing reviews, quality planning, part approval processes, and the inspection of casting and machining components

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and supplier coordination skills, with the ability to identify root causes and support effective corrective actions
