Job Title: Assistant Manager - Planning & QS

Experience: 7-9 years

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field

Location: Nallagandla, Hyderabad

Roles & Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation, evaluation, and control of project budgets and cost estimates.

- Review and analyze project drawings and specifications to prepare detailed quantity take-offs.

- Ensure that cost management processes comply with company policies and procedures.

- Support the planning team in project scheduling and monitoring project progress.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate cost control and timely delivery of projects.

- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and change orders.

- Monitor and report on cost variances and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

Requirements

- 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying and project planning.

- Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.





- Proven working experience in project quantity surveying and planning roles within the construction industry.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent knowledge of construction costs, pricing, and estimating techniques.

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

- Robust communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with project teams and stakeholders.

Nice to Have (Skills)

- Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) applications.

- Proficiency in cost estimation software such as CostX, SQC, or similar tools.

- Experience with planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6).

- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook.

- Familiarity with project management methodologies and practices.

Qualification: Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field
