Role Description The Assistant Manager – Insurance will be responsible for managing insurance products and processes, supporting sales activities, and ensuring high-quality customer service for insurance clients. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, focused on coordinating with internal teams and external partners to drive insurance business growth and compliance. Daily tasks include assisting in policy issuance and renewals, analyzing customer needs, preparing proposals, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring adherence to company and regulatory guidelines.

The role also involves supporting team members, resolving escalated customer issues, maintaining accurate documentation,



and contributing to local initiatives that improve insurance operations and customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Finance and Insurance, with the ability to understand insurance products, underwriting basics, and financial implications.
- Demonstrated Sales capabilities, including lead follow-up, cross-selling or up-selling insurance solutions, and achieving assigned targets.
- Proven Team Management skills to support, coordinate, and guide team members toward shared goals and service standards.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle queries, manage escalations, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Relevant experience in insurance or financial services; prior exposure to retail or corporate insurance business is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field; skilled insurance or financial certifications are preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office and basic CRM or insurance systems.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple priorities, and adhere to regulatory and organizational compliance standards.
