Job Title: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Direct Purchase (Automotive seating systems)

Location: MSKH, Pune (Chakan)

Industry: Automotive seating systems

Experience: 9–16 years (role-dependent)

CTC: ₹12–20 LPA (depending on role and experience)

SHIFT: General SHIFT

Mandatory Requirements:

- Direct experience in Automotive seating systems
- Pure direct purchase / sourcing experience in Automotive Tier-1 or Tier-2 companies.
- Strong commodity-specific expertise and hands-on costing experience.

Commodity Expertise Required:

- Engineering Plastics – PA6, PA66, PP, POM and reinforced plastics
- Foam & Trim – PU foam, fabrics, leather, PVC and interior trim
- Sheet Metal & Tubular Parts – Stamping, pressing, tube bending, welding and fabrication

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle direct purchasing,



strategic sourcing and supplier development for the relevant commodity.
- Perform should-costing and cost analysis, including raw materials, tooling, conversion costs, cycle time and scrap.
- Manage supplier negotiations, cost optimization, alternate sourcing and localization.
- Understand relevant manufacturing processes, tooling and productivity improvement.
- Manage RFQs, recent project sourcing, VA/VE and procurement activities from RFQ to SOP.
- Coordinate with engineering, quality, manufacturing and supply chain teams.
