Role Description The Assistant Housekeeping Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Aldovia Resort & Convention in Bengaluru. This role supports the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure consistently high cleanliness and presentation standards.

Responsibilities include supervising housekeeping and laundry staff, assigning and reviewing work schedules, conducting inspections, and maintaining inventory of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies. The role involves coordinating with Front Office and other departments to handle guest requests, resolve service issues, and prepare rooms and venues for events.

Manager also helps with staff training, performance feedback, adherence to safety and hygiene protocols, and implementation of standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team coordination, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess Laundry operations knowledge, including handling of linens, equipment use, and quality standards.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with the ability to address guest needs and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for clear interaction with team members and cross-functional departments.
- Candidates should possess Hiring and staff onboarding skills to support recruitment, selection, and integration of new team members.
- Prior experience in housekeeping supervision within hotels or resort environments is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards, as well as basic inventory and scheduling practices, is preferred.
- A diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related field is advantageous, along with the ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
