Role Description This is a full-time, Architectural Lighting Designer role based in Mumbai. The designer will develop concept and detailed lighting layouts for architectural and interior projects, including fixture selection, lighting calculations, and integration with architectural and interior design intent. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with architects, interior designers, and clients, preparing drawings and documentation, creating mood boards and visual presentations,



and coordinating with suppliers and contractors during project execution.

The Architectural Lighting

Designer will participate in design reviews, refine solutions based on feedback, and support project delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Lighting Design and Architectural Lighting for interior and exterior spaces.
- Experience in Interior Design and coordination with architectural teams to align lighting with spatial concepts.
- Solid understanding of general Lighting principles, including photometry, visual comfort, and energy-efficient solutions.
- Proficiency in relevant design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Photoshop, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design, or a related field.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design concepts to clients and project stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines.
- Prior experience in architectural lighting design studios or consulting firms is an advantage.
