Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage accounts receivable calls to resolve customer queries, disputes, and issues related to medical billing and revenue cycle management.
- Authorize or deny claims based on patient eligibility, insurance coverage, and other relevant factors.
- Handle denials by investigating root causes, appealing denied claims, and implementing strategies for reducing denial rates.
- Post payments received from patients or insurance companies accurately and efficiently.
Job Requirements :
- 1-6 years of experience in AR calling, authorization, denial handling, denial management, payment posting, or revenue cycle management.
- Solid knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA) and industry standards (e.g., ICD-10).
- Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with customers over phone calls.
