Role Description The Application Engineer will work on-site, full time, at the Politics of Chandigarh location, supporting the design, configuration, and implementation of industrial automation and power control solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with engineering teams to develop and integrate PLC, SCADA, VFD, HMI, and related systems, as well as customizing applications based on client requirements. The role involves providing technical support during installation and commissioning, diagnosing and resolving system issues, and conducting testing to ensure reliable performance and safety compliance.

The Application

Engineer will also prepare documentation, participate in client meetings, assist in training end users,



and coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Technical Support skills, including troubleshooting, customer-facing issue resolution, and on-site service for automation and control systems.
- Candidates should possess Software Development skills related to PLC programming, SCADA configuration, HMI development, and basic scripting or coding for industrial applications.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills in power systems, control circuits, instrumentation, and panel design for industrial environments.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering awareness sufficient to understand machinery interfaces, actuators, and mechanical system integration with controls.
- Candidates should possess Testing skills for validating system performance, conducting FAT/SAT, and verifying safety and reliability of installed solutions.
- Relevant qualifications include a diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Beneficial skills include familiarity with Industrial IoT platforms, networking basics, documentation and reporting, and clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work safely on industrial sites, manage multiple tasks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and travel locally to customer facilities as needed.
