Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Android Developers and Senior Android Developers with 48 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and high-performance Android applications. The ideal candidates should have strong expertise in Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, Jetpack Components, modern mobile architectures, REST API integration, and unit testing.

Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless mobile experiences. Senior candidates will also be responsible for technical design, architectural decisions, code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and driving end-to-end application development.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance Android applications.
- Lead or contribute to end-to-end application development, from requirement analysis to deployment and production support.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and productive code following Android development best practices.
- Implement scalable application architecture using MVVM, Clean Architecture, and established design patterns.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Backend Developers, and QA teams to deliver business requirements.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and external SDKs.
- Optimize application performance, memory usage, responsiveness, and reliability across different Android devices and versions.
- Perform debugging,



troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve production defects.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and stability.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and quality assurance practices.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, effort estimation, and technical discussions.
- For senior-level roles, mentor junior developers, drive technical discussions, and contribute to application architecture and design decisions.

Required Technical Skills

Android Development

- Strong hands-on experience in Android application development.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack Components.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices.
- Understanding of the Android application lifecycle and UI/UX principles, including Material Design guidelines.
- Experience developing and optimizing applications across multiple Android versions and devices.

Architecture and Design
- Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, Android Architecture Components, and design patterns.
- Understanding of dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
- Experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Flow,



and asynchronous programming.

API Integration and Data Management
- Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Retrofit, OkHttp, and JSON parsing.
- Knowledge of Room Database and SQLite for local data persistence.
- Familiarity with Firebase services, push notifications, and analytics.

Testing and Quality Assurance
- Experience with unit testing using JUnit and Mockito.
- Familiarity with UI testing frameworks such as Espresso.
- Experience with debugging, performance optimization, code reviews, and application quality assurance.

Tools and Development Practices
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Familiarity with Google Play Store publishing, deployment, and release management

Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices.
- Experience with Coroutines, Flow, and dependency injection.
- Exposure to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of mobile application security best practices.
- Experience with Firebase Analytics, crash reporting, and push notification services.
- Ability to stay updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies.
