Role Description This is a full time, on-site Android Developer role based in Noida.

The Android

Developer will design, build, and maintain Android applications that enhance audience engagement and support IFI’s digital experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing new features, integrating APIs and backend services, optimizing application performance, and ensuring compatibility across various Android devices and OS versions. The role involves collaborating closely with product, design,



and content teams to translate show concepts and user requirements into intuitive mobile interfaces.

The Android

Developer will also participate in code reviews, maintain clean and testable code, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to improving overall app reliability and user experience.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Mobile Application Development and experience building and deploying Mobile Applications for Android.
- Proficiency in Android Development and Android Design, including UI/UX best practices for diverse screen sizes and devices.
- Solid Software Development skills, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and version control (e.g., Git).
- Experience with Kotlin and/or Java, Android SDK, Android Jetpack components, and RESTful API integration.
- Knowledge of performance optimization, debugging tools, and unit/UI testing frameworks for Android.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, entertainment-focused environment and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in media, entertainment, or consumer-facing apps is an advantage.
