HR Business Partner

Individual contributor | Reporting to CHRO / Head – HRBP The opportunity

Partner with leaders, managers and employees to strengthen employee experience, improve retention and turn business priorities into practical people initiatives.

What you will do

- Business strategy: Translate growth, expansion, productivity and organisational change priorities into workforce, capability and people plans.
- Business partnering: Understand team objectives and workforce challenges; work with leaders to deliver effective people plans.
- Engagement: Run listening sessions, pulse surveys and engagement initiatives; turn feedback into measurable action plans.
- Retention & attrition: Analyse trends, conduct stay and exit conversations, identify root causes and support targeted retention actions.
- Query resolution & employee relations: Resolve employee questions and concerns promptly, with discretion, documentation and appropriate escalation.
- Performance management: Support goal setting, reviews, feedback and performance improvement plans with fair,



consistent processes.
- Workforce planning: Partner with leaders and TA on headcount needs, capability gaps, hiring priorities and internal mobility.
- HR analytics: Track headcount, attrition, engagement and performance; turn people data into recommendations for leadership.
- Employee lifecycle: Support smooth onboarding, employee transitions and exits.

What you will bring

- Completed full time MBA/PGDM in HR, MA in HRM & Labour Relations or equivalent relevant postgraduate qualification from a Tier 1 institute, such as XLRI Jamshedpur, TISS Mumbai or MDI Gurgaon’s HR programme.
- 1–4 years in HRBP, business HR or an HR generalist role. Fresh graduates with relevant HR internships or projects may also apply.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills; confidence with Excel and HR dashboards.
- Empathy, ownership, confidentiality and sound judgement, with the ability to balance employee needs and business priorities.
