Position: Afterhours Operations Specialist - Brokerage

Location: Mysore, Karnataka

Shift: Night Shift (3:30 AM to 1:30 PM IST)

Department: Brokerage Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Afterhours Operations Specialist to support our U.S. Brokerage Operations team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth transportation operations by coordinating with carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders while delivering exceptional customer service.

This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where timely decision-making and problem-solving are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and manage daily shipment activities to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
- Coordinate with carriers, customers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and operational updates.
- Schedule and manage pickup and delivery appointments.
- Proactively identify and resolve shipment delays, service issues, and exceptions.
- Track freight movements and provide regular updates to customers and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation.
- Handle customer inquiries and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with Carrier Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to support business objectives.
- Escalate critical operational issues when necessary and facilitate timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures,



and customer requirements.
- Support weekend and after-hours coverage on a rotational basis.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize activities in a high-volume environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work night shifts and rotational weekend schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, Freight Brokerage, or Operations.
- Prior experience in customer-facing operational support roles.
- Knowledge of shipment tracking, carrier coordination, and transportation processes.
