Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time remote role focused on guiding prospective learners through the admissions journey for Skillofy_AI programs. On a day-to-day basis, this role involves responding to inquiries, conducting informational calls, and providing transparent guidance on program options, eligibility, and learning paths.

The Admissions

Counselor will assess applicants’ backgrounds and goals, recommend suitable tech and non-tech programs,



and support them in completing applications and enrollment steps. This role also includes maintaining accurate records in the admissions system, collaborating with marketing and academic teams on outreach initiatives, and following up with leads to ensure a positive, supportive experience. The counselor will be expected to meet admission and conversion targets while upholding Skillofy_AI’s learner-first values and delivering consistent, professional communication.

Qualifications

- Strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to engage effectively with diverse prospective learners and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated Customer Service experience with a focus on empathy, problem-solving, and relationship-building.
- Sales skills, including consultative selling, lead follow-up, and the ability to explain program value and outcomes clearly.
- Background or interest in Education, counseling, or academic advising, especially in edtech or professional training environments.
- Additional beneficial qualifications: ability to work independently in a remote setting, proficiency with CRM or admissions management tools, strong organizational and time-management skills, and comfort with virtual communication platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Education, Business, Communications, or Psychology) or equivalent practical experience.
