We’re Hiring: Deputy Accountant | Pune

Abhay Nevagi & Associates LLP, an ISO 27001:2022 certified full-service law firm with offices in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Kolhapur, is looking for a Deputy Accountant to join our Pune team of about 50 people.

? Salary: ₹50,000+ per month, depending on experience and suitability

? Qualification: B.Com. / M.Com. or equivalent in Accounting or Finance

? Experience: 5–7 years in accounting, bookkeeping, statutory compliance and financial reporting

What you’ll need:

✅ Practical working knowledge of Tally

✅ Valuable knowledge of GST, Income Tax and TDS

✅ Understanding of accounting principles, ledger scrutiny and financial reporting

What you’ll do:

? Maintain and scrutinize books of accounts and ledgers

? Handle GST, TDS,



Income Tax and other statutory compliances

? Prepare financial statements, MIS reports and monthly P&L;

? Assist in finalization of accounts

? Manage client billing, outstanding tracking and recovery

? Process salary, vendor, rent and statutory payments

? Perform bank reconciliation and assist in cash flow management

? Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant and support internal and external audits
