Finance Manager – Factory Finance- 1 Year - Bangalore

We are hiring a qualified CA / CMA is required to run factory finance for manufacturing operations, with a focus on costing, inventory control and plant-level reporting. The role partners with plant, supply chain and commercial teams to keep product costs accurate and inventory healthy.

Location - Bangalore

Your Future Employer - A manufacturing organisation with an in-house plant and a finance team that works closely with production, procurement and supply chain. The name will be shared with shortlisted candidates.

Responsibilities -

1. Prepare and maintain standard and actual product costing; analyse variances in material, labour and overheads
2. Run month-end inventory valuation across raw material, packing material, WIP and finished goods
3. Track slow-moving, obsolete and expiring stock, and recommend provisions and corrective actions
4. Reconcile physical stock counts with books and investigate differences
5. Prepare monthly plant MIS, cost sheets and yield, wastage and conversion-cost reports
6. Support month-end close, including accruals, GRN-to-invoice reconciliation and cost allocations
7. Partner with production,



procurement and supply chain to improve margins and working capital
8. Ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory audit requirements and cost audit (where applicable)

Requirements -

1. Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA)
2. Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience
3. Experience in factory finance, with a working understanding of inventory management and product costing
4. Background in the FMCG industry
5. Sound grasp of cost accounting: standard costing, BOM, routing, absorption and variance analysis
6. Understanding of inventory valuation, stock provisioning and shelf-life and expiry risk
7. Working knowledge of an ERP system (SAP / Oracle / similar) and advanced Excel
