Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the finance and accounting functions at Raj Park Hotels, Chennai. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, statutory compliance, cost control, and internal controls to ensure accurate financial management and smooth hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and banking transactions.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, MIS reports, and financial summaries.
- Monitor hotel revenue, expenses, cash flow, and working capital.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance reviews.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly closing, reconciliations, and year-end accounts.
- Monitor hotel revenue audits, night audit reports, billing accuracy, and revenue reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure audit observations are addressed promptly.
- Monitor inventory accounting, purchase transactions, stores, receiving, and cost-control procedures in coordination with the concerned departments.
- Establish and maintain effective internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Supervise,



guide, and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
- Coordinate with the General Manager, department heads, and corporate management on financial matters.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and financial procedures.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of hotel accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, and hotel management systems.
- Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience of 15-20 years in a reputed hotel or hospitality organisation.
- Strong understanding of hotel revenue management, cost control, and financial discipline.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and coordinate effectively with operational teams.

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
