Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accounts Assistant role based in Mumbai, requiring joining within 7 days and 2–3 years of relevant experience.

The Accounts

Assistant will support daily accounting operations, including handling petty cash, recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with invoice processing. The role includes monitoring receivables, following up with clients and internal stakeholders for payments, and supporting credit control activities.

Assistant will help prepare basic financial reports, reconcile accounts, and coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate, timely documentation.



The position involves regular communication with internal departments and external partners to resolve account discrepancies and support smooth financial processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance skills, including basic bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and familiarity with financial documents.
- Candidates should possess experience in Credit Control, including tracking receivables and supporting payment follow-ups.
- Candidates should possess the ability to manage Petty Cash, maintain vouchers, and reconcile cash balances accurately.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with internal teams, clients, and vendors regarding accounts and payments.
- 2–3 years of experience in accounts or finance, preferably in logistics, freight, or a similar industry.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting software; attention to detail and solid numerical aptitude.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
