Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with accounting experience to support general ledger accounting, month-end close activities, and financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and controllership support activities within an ERP environment.

Experience working with SAP, Oracle, or any other ERP system is preferred. The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced finance environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and review accruals, provisions, and other accounting adjustments.
- Assist with financial reporting and controllership activities, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Maintain and monitor General Ledger (GL) accounts and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
- Support account analysis and variance explanations during financial close cycles.
- Ensure accounting transactions are accurately recorded within the ERP system.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting-related queries and issues.
- Assist in audit requirements by providing documentation and supporting schedules.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance or equivalent).

Experience:

- 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of General Ledger accounting principles and financial accounting processes.
- Hands-on experience with:

o Journal Entries o Account Reconciliations o Accruals & Provisions o Month-End Closing Activities o Financial Reporting Support o Controllership Activities
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or any other financial ERP platform.
- Good understanding of accounting concepts and internal controls.
