An Accountant is required with 3-6 years of experience with M.Com/B.Com/BBA/or equivalent along with proficiency in Tally and MS Office and possesing sound understanding of Accounting semantics.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations & General Ledger

- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee daily and weekly cash management, bank reconciliations, and credit card processing settlements.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Handle fixed asset accounting, depreciation schedules, and accrual entries.

Restaurant-Specific Accounting
- Integrate and reconcile restaurant Point-of-Sale (POS) data with accounting software.
- Review daily sales reports, tip pool allocations, and cash-over/short logs.

Compliance & Taxation (India/Local Context)
- Prepare and file GST (Goods and Services Tax) returns.
- Manage TDS (Tax Deducted at Source)



and TCS calculations, deposits, and statutory filings.
- Oversee local statutory payroll processing, employee PF/ESI contributions, and skilled tax compliance.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.

Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements for individual restaurant outlets or the group.
- Assist management with budgeting, rolling cash-flow forecasts, and variance analysis (actuals vs. budget).
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide insights on menu profitability and operational efficiency.
