Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Ab Initio / ETL Developer with robust expertise in data integration, ETL development, SQL, and data warehousing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing ETL workflows to support enterprise data processing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio.
- Develop and enhance Ab Initio graphs using components such as Join, Sort, Rollup, Reformat, and Lookup.
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into target databases or data warehouses.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, and data validation scripts.
- Work with Unix/Linux shell scripting for job execution, automation,



and troubleshooting.
- Monitor ETL jobs, investigate production issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
- Follow coding standards, documentation practices, and data quality requirements.

Mandatory Skills
- Ab Initio ETL development and Graphical Development Environment (GDE).
- Strong SQL and database concepts.
- Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
- Data warehousing and data integration concepts.
- ETL performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Experience with production support and batch processing.
